I can recommend Complete Property Solutions (CPS) as a reliable, reputable and friendly builder, based on my experience below. I needed an old conservatory replaced with a permanent extension, an expansion of the utility room, opening part of kitchen. I chose CPS, as they were registered master builders, they answered the phone and turned up when they said they would, price was competitive. Prior to the work contract was laid out with payment stages, and details / standards of work at each stage The work was completed in accordance with contracted timetable, and flexible for inevitable client adjustments to plan design. The lads were all respectable of my property and polite. Gareth and Dave and the lads were all faultless. Final snagging was done promptly and to my satisfaction. I received all building regulation certificates within a few weeks of completion. An A plus from me.

The team did an excellent job! All the guys were hard working, friendly and got the job done in a timely fashion. We had a wall taken out and an RSG put in and it has completely changed the look of the room - cannot thank the team enough for all their work!

I just wanted to take a moment to share how truly impressed we are with Complete Property Solutions and the work they have done for us. Back in September, we embarked on a major project of a double side and single back extension—and not only was the work completed beautifully, but it managed to finish everything a month ahead of schedule! When we first reached out to Gareth, we were just in the initial planning stages, hoping for a rough estimate to help us get started. Gareth was incredibly helpful and kind, giving us a realistic ballpark figure that set the foundation for our plans. A year later, when we were finally ready to move forward, he provided us with a full quote that was extremely reasonable. During their visit to our house, Gareth and Dave took the time to walk us through details we wouldn’t have even known to consider, which made us feel completely at ease and confident that our project was in the best hands. Throughout every stage of the build, Gareth kept us in the loop, providing updates and communicating regularly. Even when we had constant questions or special requests, they were always available with thoughtful advice and unwavering support. What truly stood out, though, was Gareth's exceptional support during a difficult period when we encountered issues with remortgaging our house to fund the build. Despite the uncertainty, Gareth went above and beyond to help us navigate the challenges, offering guidance and making every effort to keep the project moving forward so we didn't have to halt construction. That level of dedication and care made a huge difference for us. There was another pivotal moment during the build when it became necessary for us to move out of our home to allow internal works to proceed. Dave and their team excelled yet again, keeping us well informed throughout and working tirelessly to meet our tight deadline for returning home. They started early, worked weekends, and showed genuine commitment to getting us back inside on time. Their thoughtfulness extended beyond our own needs; they even offered to help our neighbours with small, odd jobs to ease any inconvenience caused by the construction. This level of community spirit and care is truly rare. Every builder who came to our home was fantastic—friendly, professional, and a true credit to your business. It’s rare to find such a combination of skill and genuine kindness, and it made the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you once more for everything. We are absolutely thrilled with our new space and deeply grateful for your outstanding service, support, and dedication throughout the project. Words cannot express how thankful we are, and you will never truly know the extent of the difference you have made for us. We are forever grateful for the beautiful forever home you have made possible, and we will always cherish what you’ve helped us create.

Fantastic experience the whole process was just so smooth, calm and professional. From the moment Gareth came to chat about the work I knew I was talking to an honest man. Gareth was direct and offered valuable advice even when other contractors stumped me with information Gareth was kind enough to offer a 2nd opinion or alternative option. Needless to say I selected Complete Property Solutions and from the moment the brickies turned up on site I felt confident. The build went through without a hitch the brickies were a fantastic group great work rate, efficient and polite. If there were issues I didn’t see any they were sorted before I knew. The walls and foundations were done in no time and the roof and doors went on and in the same way. No issues. Materials were on site promptly so no delays to work. The interior work was the same plumbing, insulation and plastering all done to a very high standard by an amazing team. With the interior the guys were brilliant at engaging with me and my wife on what we wanted the finish to look like, where we wanted fittings, the radiators, doors everything. They were brilliant. The organisation with the senior team is great and work gets sorted quickly. Genuinely everyone in the company is a fantastic person who takes pride in the work they are producing and the after support has been brilliant. If I need anything doing again or just some advise on an issue I will be hiring Complete Property Solutions. Simply brilliant property solutions in my option. Also the odd bacon or sausage sandwich helps

Absolutely fantastic company. From our initial visit from Gareth, understanding what we wanted and helping design our new extension, the whole process has been fantastic. Everyone we've met has been so friendly, punctual and hard working. Going above and beyond on a daily basis. We are thrilled with our new living space and have been singing their praises to everyone who'll listen! Thank you so much to the whole team. We won't hesitate to be in touch with any future plans. Great craftsmanship, but watch out for hidden costs. We originally chose this company to build our extension and, for the most part, the quality of the work was excellent. Gareth took charge of the project early on, the teams arrived on schedule, and the tradesmen on-site were hardworking, trustworthy, and delivered great craftsmanship. We are very happy with the final living space. However, the experience was soured at the end by a significant billing dispute. Despite having an agreed-upon quote, the company attempted to charge us extra for electrical work that should have been included. It led to a heated confrontation, and while they did eventually honor the original agreement and cover the cost, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional way to conclude the project. The verdict: While the build quality is "out of the park," I would advise anyone using them to ensure every single detail is tied down in writing. It’s a shame that a highly professional service turned into a battle over hidden extras at the final hurdle.

A roof lantern is an architectural feature that consists of a glazed structure, typically installed on the flat roof of an extension, orangery, or other part of a building.

It resembles an inverted glass box or pyramid and is designed to allow natural light to flood the interior space. Roof lanterns are both functional and decorative, adding elegance and a sense of spaciousness to a room.

• Glazed Construction:
  • Made primarily of glass panels supported by a frame, allowing maximum natural light into the space below.
• Elevated Design:
  • Positioned above the roofline, the raised structure creates an airy, open feel.
• Framing Materials:
  • Frames are typically made from aluminum, uPVC, or timber, designed for strength and durability.
• Energy Efficiency:
  • Modern roof lanterns use double or triple glazing with thermal breaks to reduce heat loss and improve insulation.
• Shape and Style:
  • Available in a variety of shapes, such as rectangular, square, or octagonal, and often feature decorative ridge detailing.

• Increased Natural Light:
  • A roof lantern brightens the space by bringing in more sunlight, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
• Enhanced Aesthetics:
  • Adds a stunning architectural element to the space, creating a sense of luxury and sophistication.
• Sense of Space:
  • By drawing the eye upward, a roof lantern can make a room feel larger and more open.
• Improved Ventilation:
  • Some roof lanterns can be fitted with opening sections to allow fresh air circulation.
• Energy Efficiency:
  • Modern designs help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures while reducing energy costs.
